The instant messaging platform has combined messaging and payments on the same platform, making it easier for users to send and receive money from friends, family and anyone they know. ‘they know. How to Increase UPI Payments on WhatsApp

Step 1: Open WhatsApp and then open the chat of the person you want to transfer money to.

2nd step: Click on the “” icon available in the message bar below.

Step 3: Click on “Add your payment method” then click on “Add a bank account”.

Step 4: Select the bank where you have a savings account.

Step 5: Verify your phone number. In particular, you should have your mobile number registered on your phone. If you have the registered mobile number, same as WhatsApp number, WhatsApp will verify it automatically.

Step 6: Add the bank account. Now, WhatsApp will allow sending and receiving money through a registered phone number.

Step 7: Click Continue. Now your bank is connected to UPI payment processing via WhatsApp.

Step 8: Now enter the amount you want to send.

Step 9: Enter your UPI PIN for the registered bank and click Submit Payment.

Step 10: You can check your payment status in the chat itself and you can also track transactions in the chat.

Notably, in order to personalize the payment experience on the platform, WhatsApp also provides a wide variety of stickers and backgrounds. To add these stickers and backgrounds, just tap the “Sticker” icon.
