Via the GrabPay card, it will allow its users to carry out online and in-store transactions which will be billed to their GrabPay wallet.

How to transfer money from GCash to GrabPay

To start transferring money from GCash to GrabPay, read the 5 easy steps below to top up your GrabPay wallet.

  1. Launch the GCash application, hover over the dashboard, then select the “Bank transfer” button to initiate the transaction.
  2. Once you have clicked on the “Bank transfer” button, the lists of the selected partner banks are displayed. From there, scroll down and select “GrabPay.”
  3. To transfer money to GrabPay, enter the amount you want to transfer, the name of the GrabPay wallet account and the 11-digit mobile number of the GrabPay wallet you want to transfer money to. After filling in the necessary information, click on the “Send money” button to proceed with the transaction.
  4. To make sure the transaction details are all correct, double check all the details you entered before clicking the “Confirm” button.
  5. Once the transaction is complete, the details of the money transfer will be displayed on your phone screen, including the ticket number and reference number provided by GCash. You will also receive a transaction receipt at the email address linked to your GCash account.

To confirm the money transfer from GCash, launch the Grap app to check the amount transferred to the GrabPay wallet.

Note that when transferring money from Gcash, P 50,000 is the maximum amount you can transfer, and a P15 service charge will be deducted from your GCash balance for each transaction made since November 1, 2020.

So, when doing money transfer transactions, make sure that you have sufficient balance or the transaction you made will not be processed.
